The Monitor Audio CP-IW460X In-Wall Speaker features dual 6.5” C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium Magnesium), bass drivers, with RST ‘dimpled’ cone technology. Die-cast alloy bass driver chassis is included with the CP-IW460X to provide rigidity, resulting in punch bass and clean mid-range performance due to reduced transfer of vibrations. Dual C-CAM mid-range drivers with RST ‘dimpled’ cone and underhung voice coil technologies are also featured with Premium Monitor Audio In-Wall Speaker. The CP-IW460X is also impressively equipped with a C-CAM Ribbon High-Frequency transducer.

A Three Way In Wall Speaker Design

The Monitor Audio CP-IW460X In-Wall Speaker uses an innovative HF rotating system to facilitate portrait or landscape orientation. A back-box is integrated into the In-Wall Speaker to establish rear sound isolation resulting in a controlled audio performance. The CP-IW460X features a Cast Polymer Enclosure which has been designed to provide a high degree of rigidity and acoustic damping properties. The three-way design is ordered in a symmetrical ‘B-M-T-M-B’ configuration. The Monitor Audio CP-IW460X is designed with a high-end crossover featuring low-loss inductors and audiophile grade Polypropylene capacitors.

Simple Installation

A patented Tri-Grip fixing system is easier to install than conventional clamping systems providing three times the surface area and improved sealing. The Monitor Audio CP-IW460X is finished with a  trim-less, low-profile magnetic grille which provides an attractive, discreet visual aspect and easy installation and servicing.
